Xrakt One of the Best Game for PPC

Xrakt is one of my favorite games for ppc and you will see why later in this review, to get this app you must first get X1 as this app is bundled with it. I personally think that this game for ppc should be sold seperately, because it is amazing! This game for ppc was originally for the Sony Erickson, but someone managed to get it on Windows Mobile for us. The story is you are some chick on a bike that hates red robots. And gues what? There are red robots everywhere! And guess what else? You have a gun. The developers of this game for ppc allow you to use the touch screen to control the game, personally I prefer using the stylus, but others might not like that. Also, the developers said you can use the hardware keyboard to control, but you don’t have to. To move left and right all you have to do is click yourself, and the drag left or right, pretty simple! To take down those pesky red robots, simply tap them. We do know that red robots are tough, so on some of them, they take more than one shot. And be careful the might shoot back! Like other games for ppc you can do stunts while going off ramps! Also, if you are on a VGA device, you might have some problems, as these kind of games for ppc aren’t always supported on VGA devices, if you have a WVGA then your good! This app surpasses just about all other games for ppc and is a really fun game. I would recommend this to anyone PERIOD. It’s just that good! Bring it on a long trip, play it on your house, wherever! It’s fun!

Speed City 3D Motorcycle Racing 

Hey, did ya hear? This usually priced $19.99 game for ppc is now free! And according to it’s description “With stunning city scenes, lifelike physics simulation, and exciting street racing, you’ll definitely feel the pulse of Speed City!” Now that’s a fun game! But before you hurt yourself looking for your phone, please read my review, trust me. Racing games for ppc are usually the same, you have a vehicle, you race, and sometimes unlock vehicles. Speed City is a racing game for ppc from Omni G software. It is only free on Total Access, and otherwise it is $19.99. The first thing you notice on this game for ppc is the absolutely horrible graphics. These graphics are bad enough to make a baby cry! When you get close to an object, it becomes even more pixelated, and the faster you go, the worse it gets. Another thing I noticed in this game is the lack of sound effects! If you want a game to be somewhat realistic, you need good graphics and sound effects! The only sound you hear is repetitive and annoying. This actually can give you a headache. Now, lets go to the controls. The controls in this game aren’t any better. You are forced to use your D pad or an onscreen D pad. Both of these are bad, especially the onscreen. The onscreen is right in the middle of the screen, so you have to block the game, which is fine with me! This is a very bad app, in fact, you should get paid to download and use this app. The developer shouldn’t try to salvage this app, he should start with an entirely new one. This app looks horrible and is not fun.

Tower Defense for PPC

Tower Defense is what the name says, its one of the tower defense games for ppc that is available. Most tower defense games  for ppccan be easily messed up, since they are so popular. If done correctly  tower defense games for ppc can be addicting. For those of you that don’t know, a tower defense game is a game where enemies enter the playing area, usually through one enterance. They want to destroy your base, or get a certain amount them through to the exit. To stop them you place towers, like turrets, to destroy the enemies. In these games for ppc there are a few types of enemies. In this game, there are 17 enemies, ranging from Hummers, to spy drones. There are two categories of enemies, ground and air. The air units don’t have to go around your towers, ground units do. The difference between these units is usually speed and armor. These towers have a variety of ways to destroy enemies. They range from machine guns, frozen projectiles, radar, ect. During the game, you will need more money to buy towers. You get money from destroying enemies. When you tap on a tower you have already placed, you have two options. You can either sell the tower, and get cash back, or upgrade the tower. When you upgrade a tower in the game for ppc you will add another weapon to it. If it is a machine gun unit, upgrading will get it another machine gun. This is one of the better games for ppc that is very simple to use, yet you can spend hours on it. I would recommend this to anyone even partially into games, it is a very fun and addicting experience. My biggest problem, is that this game is $24.99, without a free or trial version!

Caver Games for  PPC Review

Caver, the Games for PPC is a side scrolling, accelerometer using, free games for ppc, isn’t that a mouthful? Now, this is one of the first apps that used the accelerometer in an app, a great and now widely used idea in new apps. While this games for ppc is designed for the HTC devices, you may want to try it out on a non HTC device. Although, if you do not have an accelerometer, then you will not be able to play, period. The object of this games for ppc is to avoid the cave walls and obstacles. Now, this is an easy task, you may say, but after a while, this can get very hard. There are 5 levels pre installed into the app, 2 by the developers, 3 by fans. These levels do not end at all in this games for ppc . That is, as long as you don’t hit the walls or obstacles. The difference between the levels is only the overall design, other than that you are still a ball trying to go as far through a cave as you can. There is a online leader board for this games for ppc if your lucky, or skilled, you just might get there! The only problem is that to view high scores you have to submit your score to the server, it would be nice to see it just in a menu. This games for ppc also has some settings to make the game a little more personalized. You can calibrate the accelerometer to make it better for you. You can also change the difficulty, this just changes the speed of the ball. This is a great games for ppc and a great free smartphone appsfor PPC. I would recommend this to anyone that like fun little games for thier Windows Mobile device.

Guitar Hero 5 for PPC

Do you like Guitar Hero? Well, now its on PPC. That’s right! Guitar Hero 5 is now one of the games for ppc. Although it is a little pricey ($6.99) it is here. In this review, your gonna see what I think of it, and I hope you decide whether or not to buy this app. The games for ppc is like its console version counterpart. You tap bars as the cross the screen, when they get to a certain point. The bars go along with the rhythm of the song, making the experience that more enjoyable. Now, one of the main problems is the fret board. It is very unstable, and jerky. It should be seamless and smooth, and with this jerkiness you have to rely on the music a lot more. Another problem is the music. You have to download each song 3 times, one for Bass, Guitar, and Drums. This can be extremely frustrating for those on weak or slow connections, but those with fast Wifi should be okay. Another con to the music is the quality. Every song is at a maximum 2 minutes, unlike the console version where songs seemed to go on forever. Also, the quality is very bad, and should be improved. Now, onto visuals. The graphics on this game are just plain bad. They look like they are designed for much smaller screens. Now, they aren’t unbearable, but could be easily improved. Well, enough critisism, onto the good parts. This games for ppc does contain a leader board. The leader board can be overall or for individual songs. This is a great way to see how you look against the others. Another cool feature in this games for ppc is the ability to get achievements. There are 31 achievements in the game, making it pretty fun when you do get one. Overall, this games for ppc could use some help, or an update. Even with evident flaws this is a pretty fun game to play and a great way to play Guitar Hero.

PPC Game Ferrari  GT: Evolution HD

This games for PPC is a racing game. As you will see it is not the best, however, it does offer a good career mode that sort of makes up for the rest of this app. This apps visuals leave much to be desired. Your surroundings do not look very good while playing, and the cars aren’t much better. These graphics on the games for ppc could be upgraded. The gameplay of this games for ppc aren’t very good. When playing, you use the D pad to steer, alternatively you can also tap on the left or right side of the screen to mave in a certain direction. Because this is not using an accelerometer you can’t find any middle ground between left and straight, or right and straight. Another poor aspect of this games for ppc is the annoying pop ups. Whenever you are trying to race you get pop ups about the next turn, while this is useful, it also blocks the screen. In this game there are lots of cars not in the race, that are just obstacles, and with pop ups you can easily run into many cars. The career mode seems pretty good in this games for ppc . You start out with a car, enter races, unlock content, ect. While this is very similar to most racing games, it is a good feature. This games for ppc leaves much to improve upon. The usability is not very good and could use some work. My advice is to skip this games for ppc and find a better one. Games for PPC – Doodle Jump The extremely addicting game from the iPhone is now one the games for ppc. Unlike the iPhone version this one is free. The physics of this game are a little different from the iPhone but those familiar with the iPhone version should see similarities. Doodle Jump is one of the great games for ppc available. With this game you may find yourself playing for hours, making this a good app for long trips. The object of this game is to get as high as possible. Along the way are many obstacles and helping tools to make the game different. You take the place of some kind of green elephant thing. To go higher all you have to do is jump and land on a platform. Every time you hit a platform you automatically jump again. If you miss a platform then you will fall and your score will be submitted. Along the way you may encounter some obstacles. For instance you may see a monster, to defeat him just shoot him. To shoot tap the screen. Also you may find some helpful tools. You may find a spring to make you go even higher. Maybe, if you’re lucky you may find a jet pack. There are other platforms besides the the normal green one is the red platforms. These will snap in half if you land on it, so beware! Overall Doodle Jump is one of the better games for PPC. It is very adicting and fun!

TouchTwit An Easy to Use Twitter

TouchTwit is another one of those Twitter pocket pc apps but I must say, this one is different. While you will find all the great features you would expect, this app really shows you everything in a nice, clean way. This is a diferent kind of Twitter pocket pc apps for Windows Mobile. After you put in all your account details, you will see your timeline. This is where all your followers Tweets are. Along the top is a moving bar, when it gets to the end the page is refreshed. You can speed this up if you want to reload a little faster. The Timeline has a very nice looking, spacious style, making it very finger friendly. This is great because, heck, you use your fingers on these phones! At the bottom there are 5 buttons used for navigation, they are always there as long as you are not writing a tweet. The first three buttons are used commonly, with these kind of Twitter pocket pc apps . The first is the home button. Pressing this button will allow you to see your Twitter timeline. This is also where you start out when you first started the app. Next is the @replies. This is where you can see all the replies to you, in order in which they happened. And then, there is the direct messages. This is the place to see all the messages that have been sent to you. If you want to update your status, just tap the last button, the update button. Pressing more will bring up just about everything else you can do with TouchTwit pocket pc app . The TouchTwit is one of the better interfaces, compared to most pocket pc apps for Windows Mobile. If you tap a user you can see thier profile, @ reply to them, or even block them! Using these Twitter pocket pc apps you can see the trending topics, you can check the topics for today, this week, or the current trending topics. This is nice if you like to see what’s popular. The TouchTwit Twitter client is a great way to read, and make tweets.The interface is very nice, and the features it has are very nice. I would recommend this as a Twitter client to anyone! AP Mobile- The Associated Press News App

Today we will be looking at the mobile version of the Associated Press. Now, I was expecting a crunched down, mobilized version, but I was wrong. You can see this throughout the review of the pocket pc apps . The main interface on this pocket pc apps has a pretty nice design. You have some main categories (World News, Local News, Showbiz, Tech, ect) and the main categories have their own sub categories (Sports- Golf, Baseball, Soccer, ect). In this pocket pc apps transitions are very smooth. If going from category to category or just scrolling, this app works like it should. Also, you can re arrange the order of your categories. Now the ones you use most can be first on the category list. Sharing what you saw on the app is easy to share. You can share via Twitter, Facebook, Delicious, or with email. The developers really made this very easy to do. Setup is easy and fast and the services work well. Another cool feature in this pocket pc apps is the ability to go to the next unread article. This is a great way to go to the next unread article quickly, without opening up the article menu and picking an article. Overall, this is a great pocket pc apps that really works great. I like the way it looks and how finger friendly it is on such a small screen. I would recommend this to someone that is really into getting the news quickly.

Mobile Receptionsist is a great pocket pc apps . This application works as a receptionsist, for your phone! Mobile receptionist is a pocket pc apps that will take your calls and SMSs how you want them. First you will want to set up Profiles. You can have multiple profiles running at the same time. For example, you could have one profile sending your texts to another phone, while another replies to the text, telling people you are not available. In this pocket pc apps Profiles have Rules. Every Rule has Criteria and Action. If all of the Criteria are met, then the Action is used. Here’s an example: Let’s say you are watching a movie in the theatre. If you want you can set the pocket pc apps to send all texts and missed calls to your inbox. This pocket pc apps has many actions that it can take, here is the full list. Watching  a Movie: Automatically respond to the missed call or text saying that you are currently unavailable. Archiving: Sends all texts and calls to your Inbox for later viewing, or storage. Multiple Phones: Forward all Calls and Texts to another phone. Remote Notification: If you are in a secure building and can’t receive calls or texts you can have them forwarded to an email account. Mobile Receptiosist is a pocket pc apps that can really come in handy when needed. With this application a text cannot go unnoticed if you choose. This is a very flexible application and a great free smartphone apps. Pocket PC Apps- Facebook This is the Facebook app for Pocket PC. It is compatible with Windows Mobile 6 only. This app is very handy and works great. This app supports just about everything you can do in Facebook. You can , of course, update your status just like on your computer. Nothing special, just simple. You can also take a look at your News Feed and see what’s happening. Like I said earlier nothing special. You will see the person’s profile picture, followed by thier name, next comes what they have said. Under that is the date and time that that was said. You can also see what people have said on your wall, reply to them, just like you can do on a computer. A cool feature is the ability to see information on a person, and the ability to search your friend list. This makes it very easy to find information about people on your friend list. A very unique feature is the ability to call people on your friends list. What this app does is it finds all of the phone numbers provided by your friends and puts it all in a very easy to find format. This is a very handy feature that can save a lot of time. Another very cool feature is the ability to post photos and videos, either from pictures/videos already taken, or by shooting a video or photo right on the spot. This is a very cool feature, especially on a phone. This app is  good app overall, it has good features, some we can expect and some that are just cool. The user interface is good for many Pocket PC apps, it is easy to navigate and find info. This app is available for free here.
